The
Story
Catch My Drift is a grassroots drift community in the Carolinas. We're not a corporation with a race series bolted on — we're drivers who built the thing we wished existed.
Our mission
More than a series.
A community.
The goal has never changed: the best in driver satisfaction and spectator happiness. Give drivers a safe, welcoming place to learn and compete — and give fans a front-row seat to the smoke.
CMD is by drivers, for drivers. We coach the new kid through their first tandem, we cheer the veteran chasing a title, and we keep the gate open and the vibe good. Everybody's welcome, from the daily-driven missile to the fully-caged comp car.
From the top
"We started CMD so drivers would have somewhere to slide, learn, and hang out — no egos, no gatekeeping. It grew into a full competition series and it still feels like a paddock full of friends. That's the whole point."
— JOE · FOUNDER, CATCH MY DRIFT

Good to know
Quick answers
I've never drifted competitively — is CMD for me?
Absolutely. CMD exists to bring new drivers up. Come to an open drift day, get coached, take some ride-alongs, and work up to your first tandem at your own pace.
Where are events held?
CMD events rotate among tracks across North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. Check the schedule and CMD socials for the current venue and event details before traveling.
How do I get involved beyond driving?
Come spectate, volunteer, vend, or partner up. Message us — there's always a way to plug into the community.
Do you offer sponsorships?
Yes — see the Partners page for what a CMD partnership looks like, then email us to build a package.
