This is Round 1 of the Sofa King Awesome Series. Friday night practice is for comp drivers and we will have limited spots open to non comp drivers open after 3/7. Saturday is competition day. Sunday is funday open to all. Same layout as last year. Tire changer on site. The track bar and restaurant will be open.

8:30 AM MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING!!!
YOU SAW MANDATORY RIGHT? THAT MEANS YOU THE DRIVER MUST BE AT THE MEETING. WE DO ROLL CALL AND IF THE DRIVER IS NOT PRESENT, THEY WILL NOT DRIVE. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED. OF COURSE EMERGENCIES HAPPEN THAT CAN MAKE YOU LATE. THIS NEEDS TO BE CLEARLY COMMUNICATED WITH CMD/JOE G PRIOR TO THE MEETING.
9 AM TRACK GOES HOT
11 AM TRACK IS COLD
11:30 AM QUALIFYING BEGINS
1:30 PM SECOND MEETING WITH QUALIFYING RESULTS
2 PM COMPETITION BEGINS AND CONTINUES UNTIL WE HAVE A WINNER.
Stick around after the competition at the Southern National Motorsports Park bar! You heard that right, they have a bar on the property! They have TVs we can play the livestream on or other drift videos. Food is available. Games. Maybe some stand-up comedy and/or music! All drivers may camp at the track.

Where is it? Southern National Motorsports Park 8071 Newsome Mill Rd, Lucama, NC 27851
What is it? It is a drift event. If your car can pass tech you can drive it! Go for a ride. Have fun!
Who? Anyone with a car that can pass tech. If you are under 18 a parent/guardian must be present. Kids 12 and under are free.
Why would you go? It is the BEST competition series around. The drivers have nice cars and drive very well. Everyone is very nice and the facility is top notch. Get a bologna sandwich from the track concessions. Have a drink at the bar. SNMP also has a playground for kids. You can go for a ride with drifter!
