CMD Street
Series

Built as a separate, community-first lane—not the Unlimited Series with a different label. Official CMD event information controls entry, scoring and vehicle requirements.

Know the lane

Street is not Unlimited

01

Separate program

Street and Unlimited are distinct competition lanes. Do not assume one program's rules apply to the other.

02

Event-specific entry

The active event listing or official announcement controls entry method, fee and availability.

03

Official rules control

Use official CMD Street rules and event instructions for vehicle preparation and competition decisions.

Street Series rules

The Street-specific vehicle rules below apply in addition to the standing CMD safety regulations and current event instructions.

CMD Street Series Rulebook

In addition to standing CMD Rulebook...

  • 245 size restriction 300tw max (rear only)
  • No rear mounted radiators
  • No dog box/sequential gearboxes
  • No quick change differentials
  • No nitrous
  • Factory Dash (more interior the better)
  • Cars must have all body panels at tech/start
  • No racing fuels (93 octane or E85 only)
  • Headlights and working taillights
Rear tires onlyThe rear-tire restriction limits available rear grip so higher-horsepower cars cannot gain an advantage through wider, stickier rear tires. Front tire width and tire compound are unrestricted.
